Costs
The cost to supply and install the box is R930-00. The annual maintenance subscription is R390-00 per year. These annual subs cover re-varnishing, treating of the box with bee-repellent, replacement of pea gravel, box repair where necessary, as well as the ringing and monitoring of chicks in occupied boxes.

School Projects
Education is the most a critical component to the success of this project. People need to be aware of how the project works and what its aims are. In African mythology the owl has a dreadful and undeserved reputation and only through education can this be corrected.
Owl Release Sites
EcoSolutions is actively involved in educational programmes and schools are also generally perfect sites for owl releases.We conduct owl releases at schools and other centres of learning and at present we have around fifty schools in the greater Gauteng area involved in these projects.
